MY POSTPARTUM PODCAST
I have created this podcast as a space for women to come and share their own experiences with life after a pregnancy.
Series 1 is recorded with a new episode out on the 1st of every month available on Spotify & Apple Podcasts.
If you feel moved to share your postpartum experience with a wider audience, please apply here for future recordings.
If you have a service or business that you feel would benefit mums or mums-to-be, you can apply to become a sponsor. Please contact me to request the sponsorship info pack and application link.
Alternatively if the podcast has resonated with you or been of value to you, I would be grateful of any donations to keep the podcast going to help keep this space for other women to share their story.
In the very first episode of My Postpartum Podcast, I introduce myself, and share briefly what got me here and why I started the podcast. I share the differences between both my birthing experiences and how I feel that inevitably shaped my postpartum experiences, even though I was supported by the perinatal mental health team in both.
I think it’s so important for women to share and listen to others' postpartum stories, through sharing we learn, normalise and reflect. For the women sharing, they can feel seen and heard about a time of their life which is truly remarkable whichever way it goes.
Ultimately this episode sets the stage for the future episodes, where others will share with the aim to foster a sense of community.
